Setting Exclusions in Windows 10 Defender

For those of you that use Windows 10, you may find that Windows Defender is both a useful suite as well as a real pain to use.

And for those therein that play this server, you'll need to add exclusions for the folder itself and the file "Lucian.exe". It's doable, but takes a bit of navigation.

It is best to do this BEFORE running the game.

So first things first, open the arrow in your system tray:

You'll be able to click on the defender icon, which will open the default screen. Go to Virus and Protection then the settings, and then scroll down until you see the Exclusion options.

Then you can open the Exclusions menu and add the whole folder and Lucian.exe using the panel.

After all of that, please make sure you've got all your files. Setting it to run as Administrator is a must, and I'll update this thread with other needs as time goes on.

If all else fails, after having done this, try a clean v83 install and redownloading the Lucian Client patch.
